Don’t worry about missing a Tana Tip, Trick, Treat, or Talk
Every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox.
So glad you’re here!
You might recognize my name from the Tana Slack Community. I’m a Tana Navigator, curator of the Tana Community Resource Hub workspace, and author of the “Did You Know?” posts in the tips and tricks Tana Community Slack channel. I don’t work for Tana; I’m just a passionate volunteer and avid user.
Many of you have asked me for more Tana gems. So, for you and the ton of Tana users not on Slack (can you imagine?!), here it is — Tana Deconstructed.
Expect irregular posts. Sometimes three in a month, sometimes only one in six weeks. Because they are in-depth looks at key Tana features or workflows, they are long, detailed, and time-intensive to test, create screenshots, and write. Each deconstruction is a click-by-click, node-by-node analysis, including:
how the feature works
how you can benefit from it
use cases for it
what works, what doesn’t, and why
workarounds
🔴 Warnings - things that trip up Tana Newcomers
👀 Lookouts - things beginner’s should watch out for
💡 Inspiration - a somewhat related feature or hidden gem
All accompanied by a sh!tload of screenshots and useful examples!
If you follow me on Medium and read my Obsidian articles, you'll know these deep dives are not for the faint of heart; they are detailed and dense.
That said, my background is NOT in tech. Thus, I always write from a beginner’s point of view and guarantee you’ll learn something you won’t get anywhere else.
And every so often, I’ll include an article that is short and fun: Tana tips, tricks, treats, template reviews, and tantalizing talk about new features. (I promise not to rehash stuff already available to you.😉)
So subscribe now and don’t miss the upcoming article. I’d appreciate your financial support**, but it’s not required.
Thanks for checking this out! 🙏

P.S. Special thanks to Shande Niemann for creating my awesome logo! You can reach her on Slack.
